Emily Mahon
Consultant
Emily provides communications support for a range of Luther’s clients, including investment monitoring for a global health foundation, social media for a London based bank and media support to a national older people’s charity.
Emily has a significant understanding of the regulatory landscape. She works with the London Market Group to support its engagement with the financial regulators, Government departments and MPs on the Treasury’s regulatory reforms; and delivers corporate communications activity for the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) including writing letters of engagement to senior healthcare figures, authoring blogs for senior members of staff and monitoring relevant political developments on regulatory reform.
In addition, Emily has extensive experience in engaging stakeholders, and previously worked in public affairs for a national learning disability charity where she helped liaise with MPs to promote a campaign that called on parliamentarians to listen to people with complex needs and ‘walk in the shoes’ of disabled people to experience the challenges they face every day.
Emily graduated in 2019 from the University of Exeter with a BA in Politics. Prior to joining Luther Pendragon, she worked with the PR agency SP Broadway providing clients with support and advice on the property sector.
