Simon Maule
CEO
Simon Maule is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ experience in communications. A specialist in behavioural science, he directs many of Luther’s behaviour change and thought leadership campaigns and has presented at conferences on behaviour change and communications. He maintains close links with academics across the country and helps the wider Luther team apply the latest thinking from behavioural science and related disciplines to drive results for clients.
Simon provides communications advice for clients across a range of sectors, and leads Luther’s work for South Essex Active Travel’s ForwardMotion initiative, Choice Support, GeoAmey, Independent Age, Saunderson House, and the UK Commission on Bereavement.
Simon worked at Luther Pendragon from 1999-2004 before becoming UK head of corporate communications at international consultancy Gavin Anderson & Company, and then co-founding Linstock Communications. After 15 successful years, the Linstock team joined forces with Luther in 2020.
Simon has a Masters degree in Communications from the University of Leeds, and is a qualified journalist to NCTJ prelim standard. He is also a trustee at the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund, a charity that supports children and adults with congenital heart defects across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and for and Möbius Dance, a professional dance company helping early career dance artists.
